Eurotech Introduces BoltCOR 45-10: A Fanless, Rugged, and Modular Edge Server for Intelligent Railway Operations

Amaro (UD), Italy, September 17, 2026 – Eurotech introduces and presents at the upcoming InnoTrans in Berlin, the BoltCOR 45-10: a compact, fanless and ventless edge server designed to bring high-performance computing, secure data processing and flexible connectivity to railway applications.

Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated AI GPU and NPU acceleration, the BoltCOR 45-10 combines industrial-grade computing with modular storage and high-speed networking capabilities. Its rugged 3U, short-depth form factor is designed to fit in rail cabinets; its fanless design improves reliability and operative life expectancy. The BoltCOR 45-10 is EN 50155 certified, supporting extended temperature ranges (OT4+ST2) and is optionally IEC 62443-4-2 SC-L2 Host Certifiable, addressing the lifecycle, serviceability and cybersecurity requirements of modern rolling stock equipment.

The BoltCOR 45-10 is the first of the new modular BoltCOR 45-XX product family, designed to address different railway computing requirements through a common, scalable architecture. The family will also include systems, passive cooled, with modular GPUs, for demanding physical AI applications requiring further acceleration with additional 200+ TOPS.

The BoltCOR 45-10 is designed to help railway operators and system integrators bring analytics closer to where data is generated, providing a flexible foundation for processing large volumes of operational data locally on trains and other railway vehicles.

Designed for compute-intense use cases and demanding applications, its on-board processing capabilities support demanding applications like near real-time condition monitoring, passenger-flow control, predictive maintenance, onboard diagnostics, AI-based intelligent assistants. It allows workloads consolidation and provides a scalable hardware foundation for current and future railway services.

• Up to 64 GB of soldered LPDDR5X memory with IBECC protection and PCIe Gen5 NVMe storage with RAID 0/1 support.
• High-speed Ethernet connectivity, with configuration-dependent 2.5 GbE and 10 GbE interfaces.
• Optional 4G/5G cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.x and UDR GNSS.
• Passive, fanless and ventless cooling, operating at EN 50155 OT4 (-40°C to +70°C) + ST2 (switch-on extended 85°C)
• Wide Range 24-110VDC, EN 50155 Class S2 railway power supply.
• TPM 2.0, secure and measured boot, and always-on antitamper event monitoring.
• Designed for railway requirements including EN 50155, EN 45545, EN 50121 and EN 61373; IEC 62443-4-2 SC-L2 host-certifiable.

The BoltCOR 45-10 and the wider BoltCOR 45-xx family renew and expand Eurotech’s railway and rolling stock portfolio.
