Linux Embedded Engineer

The candidate should have a solid hands-on experience with the Linux operating system including Kernel and device driver development. In addition to assembling and maintaining Linux distributions for Eurotech’s M2M/IoT embedded products, the candidate will actively contribute to the evolution of the Eurotech Linux offering including state-of-the-art security and manageability. Responsibilities

  • Developing embedded Linux distributions, support packages, and device drivers for ARM/x86 products

Hardware Design Engineer - High Performance Computing

The hardware design engineer will be responsible for the design of high-performance systems to be used in rugged environments. The candidate’s assignments will include design of the electronic circuits, PCB layout supervision and review, board bring-up, troubleshooting, system integration and validation. This highly technical role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills. It involves working across the full product development lifecycle from feasibility and requirements gathering through to production release, maintenance and End-Of-Life. The engineer will also play a support role for operations and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Architecture, design, test, and verification of hardware for high performance computing systems

It requires to gather data regarding equipment specifications, power requirements for digital and analog components and prepare and maintain documents throughout the design and development process.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in the design of embedded complex electronic board products, including high speed 32/64-bit processor boards, from constructing the initial specification through to releasing a completed product

  • Maintain thorough engineering files and notes of all projects and work carried out in a manner that can easily be interpreted by other engineering staff

We’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic individual to hire as a Sales Engineer in our South European Sales Team located in the Company headquarters in Italy.
