1. Eurotech is recruiting an Hardware Design Engineer for its HPC Strategic Business Unit
Eurotech Business Unit HPC is continuously improving the design of its products and is designing new products closely following the developments in the market of High Performance Computing systems.
Job Location
Job based in Amaro (UD) Italy, with extensive travel as required to Eurotech Group companies, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Functional Details
Design, test and verification of Hardware for High Performance Computing Systems
Writing design documentation including requirement specifications, test specifications and functional descriptions
Lead hardware development teams
Giving customer support
Defining a roadmap for HPC Hardware
Participating in 24h support
Give customer presentations/workshops
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree in electronics or computer engineering.
Experience in the areas mentioned above
Preferred Experience & Professional Skills
2-4 years of experience in computer design
Expert knowledge of computer architecture
Good knowledge of power conversion design
Experience with EMI and EMC
PCB design experience
Electronic circuitry design experience
Knowledge on Intel CPU based super computers
Knowledge of FPGA (Altera and/or Xilinx) technology
Knowledge of Infiniband and 3D-Torus interconnections
Good knowledge of English

2. Eurotech is looking for a Project Manager to act within the European Market
The job is located in Udine, Italy. Extensive travel to customers locations and Eurotech companies is required.
Main Functions
Under the supervision and the guidance of the European Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will:
Participate in definition of technical specifications of offers to clients
Quickly pre-assess in offer stage the technical features of projects, their feasibility and related needed material and human resources
Develop full-scale project plans, and associated communications documents
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tool
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
Co-ordinate Engineering resources to ensure customers needs are satisfied, whilst ensuring that Eurotechs business interests are maintained
Determine and assess the need for additional resources during the project cycle
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
Track project milestones and deliverables
Represent Company in front of Customers during the project detailed planning and implementation
Manage clients expectation during the project implementation
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
Conduct retrospective analysis and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Preferred Qualifications
Degree level qualified in an Engineering or Computing Science related subject
Experience & Skills Required
2-4 years of work experience in a project management role, including all areas of process definition, planning, development and execution
Ability to effectively prioritising and executing tasks in a high pressure environment
Experience in coordinating multi-disciplined teams and handling multi-functional contexts
Experienced at working both independently and in a team
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability of managing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
Ability to elicit co-operation from a wide variety of sources, including engineers, upper management, customers and other departments
Ability to resolve conflicts between different needs and interests
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills

Ability of managing clients, ability of representing the company in front of clients
Ability of learning, understanding and applying new technologies
Excellent MS Project & MS Office skills
