Everyware™ Software Framework Brings Middleware to Low-Power Embedded Platforms

Amaro -UD- (Italy), September 3, 2009 - Eurotech Group, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products, and systems, announces today the launch of Everyware™ Software Framework (ESF) on Intel® Atom™-based embedded platforms. ESF offers open source developer tooling based on the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and Java Micro Edition Virtual Machine. Eurotech systems loaded with ESF give OEMs a flexible and portable Java-based development environment that makes application creation quick and easy.

Eurotech is initially offering ESF on low-power, high-performance products based on the Intel® Atom™ processor, including the Catalyst Module XL, Catalyst EC, ISIS, Proteus, and DuraCOR 1200/1400.
