Eurotech Inc launches newly merged company at embedded systems conference

Amaro , April 15, 2008 – Eurotech Inc , a subsidiary of the Eurotech Group, announces today its first combined presence at the Embedded Systems Conference, Silicon Valley.
Eurotech Inc. ( employs 150 people with over 50 percent of the staff involved in research and development activities. The new Company, a result of the merging of Applied Data Systems and Arcom subsidiaries of the Eurotech Group, is the main US subsidiary serving the industrial market with embedded computers, application ready platforms, ready to use devices, and software for multimedia, portable and networked applications.

In this first exhibit of Eurotech Inc at the event, the company has multiple demonstration units on display in booth 1646, including the recently launched Catalyst Module, based on the Intel® Atom™ processor. Embedded computers from the Turbo, Bitsy, Gemini, and Apollo product lines are also on display, running Windows CE and Linux applications. Platforms using Intel, Marvell, Cirrus, and Freescale processors offer customers options and flexibility in feature set and performance to meet specific market demands.

Eurotech Inc is an Associate Member of the Intel Embedded and Communications Alliance, a six-time winner of the Independent Hardware Vendor Excellence Award from Microsoft, and a contributor to the Debian Open Source community.

Eurotech is displaying the Catalyst Module embedded computer on module system at the Eurotech booths 1646 and 744 for a live demonstration of the technolgy and other Eurotech embedded computers, application ready devices and ready to use devices.
