Amaro (UD), February 25, 2009 - Eurotech announces that its US subsidiary Parvus has received contracts this month from two US defence contractors worth US $1.5 million and US $1 million, respectively, in support of US military programs. Due to non-disclosure agreements, specific information related to the customers and projects will not be disclosed at this time. These orders are expected to be fulfilled later this year.
Representing both repeat and new business for Parvus, the new customer orders are for rugged network communications devices, including the DuraMAR 1000 mobile router, DuraNET 2955 Ethernet switch and/or other rugged communications equipment. These rugged subsystems support network-centric communications capabilities and are designed to meet the harsh environmental conditions commonly experienced by military land, air and sea vehicles.
