Using an open-sourced innovative gateway framework, Kura, candidates will develop a cloud connected sensor solution from scratch in half-day session.
AMARO (Italy) and TOKYO (Japan), March 18th, 2016 – Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products and systems, collaborates with customers, partners and integrators to bring rugged, reliable and cost effective data and device management solutions to market in short time frames. The result is a powerful ecosystem that delivers innovative end-to-end IoT solutions based on an open, standards-based architecture, proven, leading edge technologies, and the collective experience of the company’s partners.
Supported by Oracle Japan and Optex, a first private hands-on seminar will take place in Tokyo, on March 18th. Ten selected ecosystem partners will join and experience IoT solution development using Eclipse Kura, an open-sourced innovative gateway framework and Everyware Cloud within a few hours.
Oracle Japan will be educating and showing the benefits Java brings in IoT solutions in this seminar. Optex, a leading sensor manufacture will be demonstrating modern sensor technology connected to IoT gateway hardware. The sensor data will then be processed using Kura and communicated to device cloud service with minimum development time.
Eurotech’s CMO, Robert Andres commented: “This event in Tokyo shows once more a working ecosystem that delivers already today solid IoT solutions based on open and industry standards. Demonstrating the resulting low barrier of entry to IoT for customers and partners that do wish to develop powerful IoT solutions is very important. Prototyping using open hardware and powerful open source software and the possibility to deploy seamlessly on enterprise ready hardware and software was never easier.”
