Eurotech announces 3.2 Million USD order for Embedded Computing Platform to improve building energy efficiency

Amaro (Italy), September 22nd, 2009 – Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products and systems, announces today that it has received an order for 3.2 million dollars to deliver the embedded computing platform for an industrial controls product performing building environmental control functions.

Using Eurotech technology for the embedded platform allows the customer to create an accurate and reliable industrial control OEM product. As with other embedded computing devices, this industrial control product must have a long life cycle, typically exceeding 5 to 7 years. Eurotech acts as a partner to customers to deliver the embedded computing platform that extends the life of the OEM products as much as possible, and brings the most value to the provider.

“The industrial market continues to be important for Eurotech, and is historically a large part of our revenue stream,” explained Greg Nicoloso, CEO of Eurotech Inc. “Our team has worked closely with this customer’s engineers to deliver a low power, high performance embedded computing platform that allows their product to be as efficient operationally as possible, making it a popular offering to their market.”
