Agile, scalable solutions enabled on an open, standards-based architecture will be demonstrated in the IoT Solutions area at Hannover (Hall 13 Booth E77, in the M2M/IoT Pavilion).
AMARO (Italy), March 10, 2016 – Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products and systems, collaborates with customers, partners and integrators to bring rugged, reliable and cost effective data and device management solutions to market in short time frames. The result is a powerful ecosystem that delivers innovative end-to-end IoT solutions based on an open, standards-based architecture, proven, leading edge technologies, and the collective experience of the company’s partners.
At CeBIT selected partners will demonstrate different areas of IoT expertise. The Eclipse Foundation, the OSGi Alliance and BitReactive will highlight the important role played by open source products, Java and OSGi. In addition, other partners will show a wide range of robust, end-to-end solutions. They include: analytics & predictive maintenance (Hitachi High-Tech Europe); industrial PLC integration; smart energy (Misurio Ltd.); managed power distribution (Om7Sense); connected heaters & boilers (ELCO); facility management / retail (FSI); people counting, transportation (RedHat); plus automatic number plate reading and smart city / environmental monitoring.
Eurotech’s offer includes hardware, firmware, operating systems, M2M/IoT device middleware and device cloud services that are the basic building blocks for the IoT infrastructures that drive business success.
Robert Andres, Eurotech’s CMO, commented on the jointly presented use cases and demos: “There is clearly an increased understanding of the benefits that IoT can bring to organizations of all sizes. Our company and our ecosystem partners firmly believe that what the market needs is clear demonstrations of how IoT architectures and solutions can be implemented today. Solutions that are secure, efficient and without the lock-in that is a consequence of proprietary technology and a lack of appropriate standards. That need is what customers and system integrators will be able to experience at the IoT Solutions Area in Hall 13 / E77.”
As part of this event Roberto Siagri, CEO Eurotech will deliver a keynote presentation that underlines the IoT’s proven ability to drive innovation, thereby enabling the creation of better products, new services and brand-new business models.
Eurotech will be an active participant in the Premium Partner Area as well as in the IoT Solution Display in Hall 13 / stand E77, where in collaboration with ecosystem partners, the company will show some live demos of its key IoT components.
CeBIT visitors that consider leveraging the CeBIT Guided Tour offerings will find Eurotech actively contributing to the tours that focus on “Enabling Technologies for Digital Transformation” and “Dichotomy: the Digital Transformation“.
