Eurotech and Hitachi High-Tech Europe demonstrate innovative Industrial IoT predictive maintenance solutions at CeBIT 2016

Eurotech’s device & data management technology combined with Hitachi High-Tech Europe’s innovative analytics solution is presented at the IoT Solutions Eurotech & Partner Area in Hannover (Hall 13 Booth E77, at the M2M/IoT Pavilion) 

Amaro, ITALY – March 07, 2016 – Eurotech, a leading provider of smart devices and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies enabling Internet of Things (IoT) applications, together with Hitachi High-Technologies Europe GmbH (Hitachi High-Tech Europe), a subsidiary of Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation (Hitachi High-Tech, TSE:8036) are presenting their first solutions, based on the combined expertise and technology. 

Hitachi High-Tech Europe and Eurotech are both technology leaders in their respective domains. Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation Europeis demonstrating at CeBIT solutions that, with an emphasis on creativity and cutting-edge technology, are combining smart sensor and analytics capabilities at the edge of the network infrastructure with powerful analytics and visualization solutions at the enterprise IT level (data center & cloud). 

These solutions are addressing the needs of many vertical markets that intend to move from preventive to predictive management approaches, to ensure uptime and effective working of valuable assets in the field and on the factory floor. The focus is on valuable industrial equipment and solutions that contain motors, compressors, generators and transmission systems that are found, as an example, in manufacturing machines and wind turbine systems. 

For the required OT infrastructure building blocks, Hitachi High-Tech Europe is leveraging Eurotech's expertise in programmable IoT gateways including the IoT device middleware Everyware Software Framework / ESF, and can take advantage of Eurotech’s products and technology in data, device and embedded application management (Everyware Device Cloud). Due to Eurotech`s embedded software and remote device management capabilities, powerful analytics solutions can be leveraged, not only at the data center but also at the IoT device level. Everyware Cloud, Eurotech’s proven IoT Integration Platform ensures effective, fast and secure data communication with distributed systems in the field.
