Eurotech COM-1268 Receives Editor’s Choice Award from Military Embedded Systems Magazine

Rugged Gigabit Ethernet Switch Card Selected for Robust Networking Performance that “Aids Soldiers and their Networks”

Amaro (Italy), May 27, 2010 – Eurotech subsidiary Parvus Corporation today announced that Military Embedded Systems magazine, the most complete resource for developers and integrators of embedded military systems, has selected the COM-1268 for its coveted Editor’s Choice Award. The COM-1268 is a rugged 10-port PC104+ Gigabit Ethernet switch card designed for robust networking performance under extreme shock/vibe and thermal conditions common to aerospace and defense applications.

A follow-on to Parvus’ highly successful 5-Port PRV-1059 10/100 switch board, COM-1268 delivers twice the port density, ten times the bandwidth, and the addition of management capabilities for local/remote control and monitoring, while retaining the small form factor of PC/104-Plus (3.550” x 3.775”).
