The A3pci1550 is a 4-channel serial interface CompactPCI board.
The board is equipped with two National Semiconductor® PC16552™ serial controllers.
In the front panel, there is a half-pitch Dsub 50-pin female connector.
Option Board
AP401 PC board for distributing four-channel signals from the main unit connector is available as an option.

The board performs hot swap capability. Both CPU board and backplane support HotSwap.
