The Catalyst module is a single board computer which is equipped with Intel® Atom™ Processor that features both high-performance capabilities and low power consumption.
It is equipped with Intel® US15W™ System Controller Hub (SCH) which integrates high-end graphics with memory and I/O.
Operating Systems
OEMs can choice among several operating system options including: Microsoft Windows Vista, XP, Embedded XP, CE, Linux and targeted real-time operating systems (RTOS). All of them can be used keeping the power consumption less than 5W per system.
Customization
The Catalyst two-card model gives customers flexibility in their personality board, starting with either a standard version or a custom design (by Eurotech or a third party) to meet unique requirements for greater differentiation against the competition. The Catalyst Module lets OEM customers move quickly to benefit from the latest Intel embedded technology for high performance, low power applications, such as ruggedized handheld, multimedia, medical, point of service, and industrial designs.
