This product features the AMD® Geode GX466™ processor running at 333MHz.
The BIOS is embedded and located in a 1MB Flash EPROM.
A Fast Ethernet interface and four 2.0 ports are included.

The CPU-1233 is a fully RoHS compliant replacement for the popular CPU-1232 PC/104 module. The module is available in standard (0ºC to +60ºC) or optionally with extended (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. For improved reliability when used in mobile applications or harsh environments prone to high humidity, shocks and vibrations.
CPU
It now features the AMD® Geode GX466™ 333MHz Pentium® MMX class processor and is Windows CE® & XPE® and Linux® compatible.
Memory
The CPU-1233 has the RAM memory (up to 128MB DDR) soldered directly onto the board and a dedicated DOM (Disk-On-Module) connector is supplied to allow users to integrate a secured memory device.
BIOS
The BIOS is stored in a 1MB Flash EPROM and is re-programmable onboard, set-up parameters are saved within the same Flash allowing the module to retain the data without having a backup battery.
Interfaces
Integrated peripheral connections include: 4 USB 2.0 ports, TFT & VGA, 2 serial ports, Parallel port, Fast Ethernet, IDE, AC97 sound port, AT keyboard and PS/2 mouse. Onboard features also include a Real Time Clock and Watch Dog timer (configurable from 2 to 255 seconds / minutes).
Accessories
To minimize development times, a complete ready-to-use hardware development kit is available; accessories include Ethernet & USB adaptors, interface cables and power supply.

BIOS with enhanced embedded features can be easily customized and upgraded to match the specific system configuration.

Set-Up in Flash in order to avoid Set-Up corruption in field.
Virtual Peripheral Support (V.P.S.): this mode allows users to bootstrap from the serial ports and redirect Keyboard, Video and Floppy Disk on the serial ports before booting the Operating System. It is also possible to redirect any of these peripherals as default setting.
Etherboot support: this feature allows the system to boot up from a LAN connection for diskless operation.
