The Catalyst TC from Eurotech is the next generation of low power, small form factor solutions in Eurotech’s Catalyst family. Based on the Intel Atom E6xx, the Catalyst TC is designed to bring out the full suite of processor capabilities afforded by the Atom processor while optimizing for minimal power consumption, all in a small 67 x 100mm form factor.

The Catalyst TC is ideal for OEMs looking for greater integration, flexibility, and cost-optimization in their embedded solution.

Interfaces
The Catalyst TC offers more capability directly on the module such as SATA, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, SPI, and more. Multimedia interfaces include LVDS, SVDO, touchscreen, as well as high definition audio. Because it is compliant with the PCIe standard, the Catalyst TC offers flexibility by allowing any PCIe-compliant device to be easily connected, thereby expanding the I/O support. This also frees up carrier-board designs to focus on minimizing space and size usage while optimizing capabilities.

Operating Environments
The Catalyst TC supports Windows operating systems such as Windows Embedded Standard, Windows 7, and Windows CE 6.0 as well as Wind River Linux. The Catalyst TC also supports Eurotech’s Everyware Software Framework which enhances the flexibility of the module by separating hardware from software and allowing for the porting of software modules easily with minimal effort.
