This board has a bridge function from PCI Express to Serial RapidIO.
Freescale® MPC8543™ is adopted as the bridge and InfiniBand connectors are used for the Serial RapidIO connectors.
Cables
Both metal and optical cables for InfiniBand can be used as a transmission cable. Cable can be extended up to 7m with metal cable and up to 100m with optical cable.
