The Adbc8022 is a Computer-On-Module (COM) that is equipped with Intel Core Duo®/Core 2 Duo® Processor. It is a PICMG COM.0 R1.0 compatible board that is used in combination with a carrier board in order to provide expandability to a system.
The Adbc8022 adopts Intel® server chip sets E7520™ and 6300ESB™. Server chip set E7520™ features the PCI Express route function in the ECC-compatible memory controller and it features also an embedded DMA controller for high-speed data transfer from main memory to PCI Express, which provides excellent performance and reliability.
The Adbc8022 uses a dual channel that allows the use of a PCI-3200 registered DIMM as main memory. The main memory is expandible up to 4GB and ensures high reliability with the SEC/DEC x4SDDC function of the server chip set E7520™.
