Eurotech Announces ReliaSENS Environmental Monitoring System

ReliaSENS 18-12 Delivers High Precision Air Pollution Sensors and Real Time Data Access in Compact Design

Embedded World (Hall 5, Stand 176) – February 26, 2014 – Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products and systems, today announces the ReliaSENS 18-12, a cloud connected environmental monitoring system with high precision air pollution sensors and real time data access. ReliaSENS is a rugged, compact system designed to monitor traffic, industrial, construction and urban areas for temperature, gaseous pollutants, particulates, electromagnetic fields, and radioactivity, with an option for sound pollution.
“ReliaSENS gives users reliable environmental data with a simple user interface and 24/7 access so they can act on the information in real time and adjust accordingly,” said Robert Andres, CMO of Eurotech. “The system is designed for both fixed and mobile installations ranging from airports to construction sites to hospitals.”

ReliaSENS 18-12 can scale from a single device to a large monitoring network, with a simple Web interface and mobile apps for Android and iOS to manage the device and access the data. The device is easy to install and can be mounted to a pole with either battery or wired power options. Users can set thresholds and automatic alerts and the system generates hourly and daily metrics from sensor data. The ReliaSENS can be easily integrated with existing IT systems for analyzing and acting upon the environmental data coming from the field.

With a compact 180 x 360 x 150mm form factor, ReliaSENS can operate in temperatures from -20° to 50°C. GPS is built-in and connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, and Ethernet.
