– Eurotech S.p.A., primary provider of NanoPCs and HPCs, today announces to have become a member of PROSPECT e.V. (PROmotion of Supercomputing and PEtaComputing Technologies), one of the leading European consortium for the development and usage of the next generation supercomputers.
PROSPECT is chaired by three institutes that are also among the major European users of supercomputers: the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre and the Leibniz-Rechenzentrum Garching; current members of PROSPECT include some of the most prominent representatives of the high performance computing (HPC) community belonging to research institutes, universities and firms.
The goal of the association is the preparation of a European technology platform for HPC that could strengthen the European position and capability to compete on the global scene with Peta- and ExaFlops architectures and machines.
